This opportunity is with Oregon Generators in Gresham, OR. We are an entrepreneurial team looking for a like-minded Journeyman Electrician to help us achieve our goal of becoming the #1 Generac dealer in the state. The Electrician is a highly motivated individual that has experience necessary to perform the electrical components of installations to the highest industry standards in homes and business throughout our target market.
What you’ll do:

• Perform installation and preventative maintenance on generators
• Diagnostics and repairs of mechanical and electrical systems on generators
• Involved in installation hook-up of home standby generators and clean energy products
• Part of a team of 2-4 individuals, potential to have an apprentice working under you
• Provide demonstrations of generator operation and power outage simulations with customers

What you’ll bring:

• Journeyman license as an Electrician
• 5+ years of electrical experience, residential and commercial preferred
• Valid driver’s license
• Ability to lift up to 100 lbs. frequently
• Experience or ability to learn:
• Small engine repairs
• Electrical knowledge & experience which complies with the requirements of the AHJ
