Job Summary

Walgreens is seeking a highly skilled and motivated Pharmacy Technician to join our team. As a Pharmacy Technician, you will play a vital role in providing exceptional patient care and supporting our pharmacists in the delivery of high-quality services.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist pharmacists in the preparation and dispensing of medications, ensuring accuracy and attention to detail.
  • Provide excellent customer service, responding to customer inquiries and resolving issues in a timely and professional manner.
  • Operate pharmacy systems, including cash registers and inventory management software, to ensure efficient and accurate processing of prescriptions.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with healthcare providers, patients, and customers, promoting a positive and supportive environment.
  • Participate in ongoing training and education to maintain and enhance skills and knowledge, staying up-to-date with the latest developments in pharmacy practice.
Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent required; PTCB certification preferred.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Ability to lift, bend, and stand for long periods, with frequent walking and reaching.
  • Basic math skills and accuracy in handling cash and operating cash registers.
  • Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends, as needed.
