Job Summary The Food Service Operations Supervisor role presents an exciting opportunity for a dynamic and innovative leader who is always looking for ways to improve operations.

Our Supervisors are accountable for the effective management of retail and cafeteria services.

Key responsibilities include planning and overseeing special events, managing financial records, and leading the recruitment and training of team members.

They also ensure customer satisfaction and uphold excellent public relations through efficient resource management.

Key Responsibilities:
Oversee daily administrative and operational functions
Manage all aspects of team leadership
Handle financial responsibilities including budget creation, forecasting, and reporting
Stay informed about market trends and developments
Coordinate marketing strategies with business objectives to enhance revenue and customer satisfaction
Implement cost control measures and manage expenditures
Ensure compliance with sanitation and safety standards
Oversee inventory management and procurement
Launch new culinary initiatives in collaboration with marketing and culinary teams
Act as the primary contact for client relations

Preferred Qualifications:
Culinary degree preferred, or A.A. Degree with relevant experience
Three or more years of supervisory experience in food service
Experience in healthcare, senior living, or related environments is advantageous
Knowledge of food service trends with a focus on quality, production, sanitation, and cost management
Strong leadership, management, and coaching abilities
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Financial acumen and proficiency in budgeting and accounting
Proficient in Microsoft Office and other relevant software
ServSafe Certification required
