Job Summary

The successful candidate will work with multidisciplinary teams to secure aggregate reserves and obtain necessary permits and land use entitlements.

Key Responsibilities
  • Work with local and corporate employees to prioritize development needs and projects that meet company objectives
  • Gather and organize data for economic justification to support feasibility of prioritized/approved land/materials ventures
  • Facilitate multidisciplinary teams to secure aggregate reserves and obtain permits and land use entitlements
  • Coordinate and negotiate legal and conditional agreements with land owners and corporate stakeholders to ensure viability of purchase
  • Develop and execute entitlement, public relations plan, and environmental review processes to accelerate the approval process
  • Assist in market research and analysis efforts
Requirements
  • Bachelor's Degree in Natural Resource Management, Geology, Engineering, Construction Management, Mining, Business, Marketing, or equivalent experience
  • 0-4 years experience in related field
  • Proven strategic, analytical, and financial skills
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality with owners and consultants
  • Ability to work in high production environment and respond quickly and effectively under pressure and deadlines
  • Demonstrated proficiency of MS Office products (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.)
  • Strong written and oral communication skills to effectively disseminate information
  • Ability to properly manage and prioritize resources and projects
  • Excellent consultative and interpersonal skills and ability to interface effectively with all levels of management, owners, and consultants

As part of our investment in your future outside of the workplace, Granite provides a 100% match on the first 6% of eligible compensation that salaried employees defer into their 401(k) plans, which vests immediately.

Benefits may vary for positions located outside of the continental United States.

Base Salary Range: $82,809.00

Pay may vary based upon relevant experience, skills, location, and education among other factors.
