Job Summary

We are seeking a compassionate and supportive Certified Nursing Assistant to join our team at Concierge Care. As a Home Health Aide, you will provide personal care and assistance to elderly patients or those recovering from surgeries, injuries, or accidents.

Responsibilities

  • Provide personal hygiene assistance, including showering, bathing, dressing, and eating
  • Help clients take prescribed medication and assist with ambulation
  • Assist with mobility around the house or outside, including doctor's appointments and walks
  • Plan and prepare meals and help with physical therapy exercises
  • Complete client's shopping or accompany them to successfully do so
  • Perform housekeeping duties and report any unusual incidents
  • Act quickly and responsibly in cases of emergency

Qualifications

  • Supportive and compassionate, with a validated ability to act in a compassionate and supportive manner
  • Take pride in providing high-quality care as a Certified Nursing Assistant
  • Enjoy working in a one-on-one setting and eager to improve and continuously learn new skills
  • Prior experience in healthcare, hospitality, or in-home care environment (minimum of 1 year)
  • Willingness to enforce health and safety standards
  • Florida Certified Nursing Assistant / HHA Certificate (CNA or Home Health Aide)
  • CPR Certificate or proof of scheduled renewal class
