Role Summary:

We are seeking a Janitor to join our team. This position will report to the Maintenance Manager and will be responsible for maintaining cleanliness across all floors and offices, ensuring that waste is disposed of in a timely manner.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform sweeping, vacuuming, and mopping of floors.
  • Maintain cleanliness by emptying trash receptacles, servicing restrooms, and sanitizing communal areas.
  • Handle deep cleaning tasks as requested.
  • Ensure that external walkways are clear and free from debris.
  • Alert management to any necessary repairs.
  • Properly mix and dispose of cleaning solutions.

Qualifications:

Preferred candidates will possess a High School Diploma or GED. Essential skills include:

  • Ability to operate heavy cleaning equipment and machinery.
  • Physical capability to walk, bend, push, pull, and lift repetitively throughout the workday.
  • Knowledge of cleaning agents, including safe storage and disposal practices.
  • Strong communication skills and the ability to collaborate effectively within a team.
  • Excellent organizational skills.
  • Self-motivation and the ability to identify and complete tasks independently.
