As a Senior Social Worker, you will display expertise in advanced social work practice, responding to suspected abuse, neglect, or violence in accordance with the National Association of Social Work Code of Ethics policies and procedures alongside the appropriate state laws.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Providing expert-level critical thinking and in-depth psychosocial assessments
  • Applying complex concepts to situations, and if licensed, diagnosing patients/clients/residents
  • Offering specialized counseling and support
  • Serving as a member of the interdisciplinary team to address social, emotional, and economic concerns of patients/clients/residents and families/caregivers
  • Utilizing age-related patient/client/resident care protocols to meet physical and psychological needs

Requirements include:

  • A Master's degree in Social Work from an accredited curriculum
  • Licensure in good standing in the state(s) of practice, with specific requirements varying by state
