Position Overview

We are seeking a dedicated Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) for a travel role within our healthcare facility. This position is vital in providing exceptional patient care in various settings.

Certification Requirements
  • Oregon LPN Licensure: Must possess a current and unencumbered license.
  • AHA BLS Certification: Healthcare Provider Level certification is mandatory.
Job Responsibilities

The LPN will be involved in the treatment of both acute and chronic wounds, which may arise from conditions such as diabetes, surgical procedures, injuries, or circulatory issues. The role is primarily guided by physician directives and focuses on:

  • Wound Care: Providing specialized care for wounds.
  • Ostomy and Continence Care: Assisting patients with ostomy needs and continence management.
  • Adjunctive Therapies: Supporting additional treatments including vein medicine and hyperbaric therapy.
Qualifications
  • Must hold a current and valid Oregon LPN Licensure at the time of application.
  • AHA BLS certification at the Healthcare Provider level is required.
Preferred Experience

While not mandatory, previous experience in a clinical environment and familiarity with wound care practices are advantageous.
