Key Responsibilities:
  • Collaborate with IT and Operations teams to define and implement automation strategies that enhance warehouse operations.
  • Review and interpret project specifications, manage budgets, and participate in simulation/emulation.
  • Work with the Finance team to evaluate automation systems through cost analysis and capital expenditure requests.
  • Educate and train technology deployment and warehouse operations teams on automation system architecture, usability, and functionality.
  • Implement automation projects from design to production, ensuring timely and budget-friendly delivery.
  • Design holistic hardware and software solutions for problem-solving with fluid requirements.
  • Drive continuous improvement and efficiency through automation.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Mechatronic Engineering, Robotics Engineering, or similar; Master's preferred.
  • 5+ years of experience in a similar position, with exposure to robotics or mechatronic systems.
  • Established background in CAD, eCAD tools, and proof-of-concept modeling.
  • Strong organizational skills and ability to work well with teams.
  • Ability to effectively communicate concepts and write technical documents.
  • Experience evaluating designs, performance, and logistical tradeoffs for hardware systems.
  • Ability to travel 0-25% of the time.
