Job Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated and organized Housekeeping Assistant Supervisor to join our team at Hart Ranch Camping Resort. As a key member of our Housekeeping Department, you will be responsible for ensuring the successful daily operations of assigned functions, including acting as the Housekeeping Supervisor during periods of their absence.

Key Responsibilities
  • Oversee the daily operations of assigned housekeeping functions, ensuring that each team member meets or exceeds member service expectations.
  • Assign workers their duties and inspect work for conformance to prescribed standards of cleanliness.
  • Attend staff meetings to discuss company policies and member complaints.
  • Issue supplies and equipment to workers, and perform cleaning duties as required.
  • Investigate complaints regarding housekeeping service and equipment, and take corrective action.
  • Ensure compliance with safety and sanitation standards, and maintain a regular deep cleaning program.
  • Inventory and order cleaning supplies, cabin provisions, and paper products for assigned areas.
  • Provide input to budgets, including the determination of staff and material resources.
  • Perform general office responsibilities, including reviewing job applications, interviewing candidates, and hiring and training staff.
Requirements
  • Minimum of high school education.
  • Motivated self-starter with ability to lift 50 pounds.
  • Frequently required to stand, walk, sit, use hands to manipulate, handle, or feel, reach with hands and arms, climb or balance, and stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl.
  • Ability to work all shifts, weekends, holidays, and special events as needed.
  • Efficient with office products software, including email, Excel, and Word, and facility section of resort's software.
  • Hold a valid state driver's license and maintain a satisfactory driving record.
