Your Impact as a Pediatric Occupational Therapist
  • Assessment & Goal Setting: Utilize dynamic and standardized assessment tools to establish individualized occupational therapy goals for each child.
  • Collaborative Care: Work closely with a multidisciplinary team to create comprehensive treatment plans that integrate various therapeutic approaches.
  • Therapeutic Interventions: Provide individual therapy sessions, group therapies, and co-treatments with other disciplines as needed to achieve optimal outcomes.
  • Documentation & Compliance: Maintain accurate patient records, documentation, and billing in accordance with federal and state regulations and company policy.
  • Play-Based Therapy: Implement engaging play-based interventions to promote sensory processing, regulation, and skill development in daily activities.
  • Functional Support: Facilitate functional and stimulating experiences that target individualized goals and enhance a child's ability to participate in daily life.
  • Family Collaboration: Partner with families to understand their values, interests, and goals, ensuring treatment plans are tailored to each child's unique needs.
  • Program Development: Contribute to the ongoing development of innovative programs that address the diverse needs of our pediatric population.
  • Education & Support: Educate patients, families, team members, and caregivers on home programs that complement therapy sessions.
Your Qualifications
  • Master's degree in Occupational Therapy or a related field.
  • Current Occupational Therapy License in the state of Texas.
  • Proven clinical skills and experience working with children.
  • Strong communication, collaboration, and problem-solving abilities.
  • Passion for working with children and making a positive impact on their lives.
