Our client, a local accounting firm, is seeking experienced tax professionals. Depending on the level at which one gets hired, responsibilities will include some, if not all, of the following:

  • Preparation of Tax Returns: Preparing corporate, partnership, individual, and various other tax returns.
  • Complex Tax Research: Conducting complex tax research projects for clients in diverse industries.
  • Business Development: Managing a book of business and/or participating in marketing-related activities.
  • Client Satisfaction: Ensuring complete client satisfaction through open communication, managing expectations, and meeting deadlines.
  • Leadership and Mentoring: Managing, developing, training, and mentoring staff, including performance and engagement reviews.
  • Professional Development: Attending professional development and continuing education sessions regularly.

Requirements

  • Education: Bachelor's in accounting or a related field.
  • Certification: CPA certification is a plus.
  • Experience: 7+ years experience (recent public experience highly preferred).
  • Skills: Strong technical tax skills and research capabilities, ability to problem-solve and think both creatively and logically, demonstrated ability to self-direct and effectively organize and prioritize under tight deadlines, outstanding leadership, mentoring, and interpersonal skills fostering client and staff relationships.

Location and Compensation

This role is full-time onsite in Greenwich, CT. Compensation: $100,000 - $150,000 depending on experience.
