As a Telehealth Nurse, you will provide high-quality patient care by connecting patients to vital sign monitoring equipment. This equipment sends data to computer screens for you to monitor and interpret, allowing you to make informed decisions about patient care.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide basic bedside care to patients, including vital sign monitoring and assessment.
  • Monitor and adjust specialized equipment used on patients, and interpret and record electronic displays.
  • Identify irregular telemetry readings and notify the medical team.
  • Initiate corrective action when information from monitoring equipment shows adverse symptomatology.

Requirements:

  • Current ACLS and BLS certifications.
  • 2 years of recent acute care experience.

Physical Demands:

  • Ability to stand and walk for long periods of time.
  • Ability to bend, lean, and stoop without difficulty.
  • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds, with occasional lifting of 20 pounds.
  • Specific vision abilities, including close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and ability to adjust focus.
