About the Role
We are seeking a skilled Dishwasher to join our team at Amica Mutual Pavilion in Providence, Rhode Island. As a Dishwasher, you will play a critical role in maintaining a clean and safe kitchen environment, ensuring a positive dining experience for our guests.
This is a part-time, seasonal position that requires night and weekend availability from September to June. If you are a team player who takes pride in cleanliness and is available to work a flexible schedule, we encourage you to apply.
Responsibilities
\u2022 Clean and sanitize dishes, glassware, pots, pans, flatware, and kitchen items to health standards
\u2022 Store clean dishes, utensils, and cooking equipment
\u2022 Maintain a clean work area, including equipment, floors, walls, and cooking area
\u2022 Remove trash from the dish room and transport it to the dumpster, and clean and sanitize garbage cans
Requirements
\u2022 Ability to understand and follow directions
\u2022 Experience washing dishes in a commercial setting is required
\u2022 Capacity to work cooperatively with others
\u2022 Available to work a flexible schedule, including nights and weekends
Physical Demands
\u2022 Must be able to carry up to 70 lbs, placing items above and below head height
\u2022 Standing, walking, bending for the duration of the shift, occasionally pushing and pulling to move equipment, mops, and brooms
\u2022 Exposed to variable temperatures and damp environments
\u2022 Ability to frequently submerge hands in water
