Job Summary:

Cynet Health is seeking a skilled Cardiovascular Technologist to join our team in an EP Lab setting. As a Catheterization Technician, you will be responsible for assisting with the insertion of catheters into the heart and measuring and administering special fluids.

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Transfer stable patients to recovery rooms following the completion of procedures.
  • Assist with the cleaning, maintenance, setup, and testing of EP lab equipment.
  • Answer questions from patients and family members prior to the procedure.
  • Monitor EKG readouts and report any irregularities to the doctor.
  • Inspect and test EKG equipment prior to patient procedures.
  • Prepare patients for procedures (cleaning, shaving, etc.).
  • Anesthetize the area of insertion for angioplasties.

Requirements:

  • Associates Degree.
  • Telemetry Certification or ability to obtain certification.
  • One year of experience as a Cardiac Catheterization Technician.
  • Current AHA BLS.
