Job Summary

MDG Solutions is seeking an experienced Web Project Manager to lead our web development projects from initial concept to launch. The successful candidate will have a strong technical background, excellent project management skills, and the ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead web projects through discovery and planning to development and implementation
  • Provide technical and functional direction to team members and assign and manage workload
  • Partner with multiple teams to prioritize projects, understand scope, requirements, and level of effort, and clarify tradeoffs when changes are made
  • Implement software development team tools to maximize efficiency, productivity, and mitigate risks
  • Forecast resources needed to achieve goals and manage resources effectively
  • Manage communication of active work backlog, priorities, and risks to developers and stakeholders
  • Liaise with clients and account team members for technical project requests
  • Address and resolve issues that may arise during project development
  • Measure project performance and productivity to identify areas for improvement
  • Track projects against plan, manage project documentation, and report on project status, backlog, and resources
  • Deliver projects on time and within budget, ensuring quality standards are met
Requirements
  • Must be located within commutable distance of Boca Raton office to fulfill hybrid work model
  • At least 4 years of web project management and/or web development experience in an agency setting
  • Experience with project management tools, preferably Hive
  • Understanding of SEO and digital marketing concepts
  • A success-focused mindset and ability to creatively problem-solve
  • Ability to organize effectively and prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment
  • Ability to collaborate with others and work independently
  • Strong technical, analytical, and quantitative skills
  • Advanced organizational and project management skills
  • Exceptional interpersonal skills to drive alignment among stakeholders
  • Knowledge of UE software
  • General experience with HTML, CSS, PHP, and hosting setup a plus
  • Project Management Professional certification (PMP) and/or Certified Scrum Master certification (CSM)
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience as a web designer and/or WordPress full-stack developer
  • Experience with Shopify
  • Experience with CRMs
