Licensed Practical Nurse/Licensed Vocational Nurse

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Licensed Practical Nurse/Licensed Vocational Nurse to lead our nursing services team at STGi. As a key member of our healthcare team, you will be responsible for providing direct nursing care to our residents and ensuring the delivery of high-quality patient-centered care.
Key Responsibilities- Provide direct nursing care to residents, including assessing their needs, developing and implementing individualized care plans, and evaluating their progress.
- Supervise and coordinate the work of nursing staff, including LPNs/LVNs, CNAs, and other healthcare professionals.
- Ensure that all nursing services are delivered in accordance with established policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements.
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to develop and implement comprehensive care plans that meet the unique needs of each resident.
- Monitor and evaluate the quality of care provided, identifying areas for improvement and implementing changes as needed.
- Develop and maintain effective relationships with residents, families, and other stakeholders to ensure that their needs are met and their concerns are addressed.
- Stay up-to-date with the latest developments in nursing practice and healthcare policy, applying this knowledge to improve the quality of care provided.
- Must possess a current unencumbered active license to practice as a Registered Nurse (RN) or LPN/LVN in the state of Georgia.
- Must have at least one year of experience as a supervisor in a hospital, nursing care facility, or other related healthcare facility.
- Must have training in rehabilitative and restorative nursing practices.
- Must be able to read, write, speak, and understand the English language.
- Must demonstrate knowledge and skills necessary to provide care appropriate to the age-related needs of the residents served.
- Moderate physical activity. Requires handling of average-weight objects up to 25 pounds or standing and/or walking for more than four (4) hours per day.
- Work is normally performed in a typical interior/office work environment.
- Required to respond to any medical emergency within the clinic, where a fast walk or job may be necessary to provide assistance.
