Licensed Practical Nurse

We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Licensed Practical Nurse to join our team at River Edge Behavioral Health. As a Licensed Practical Nurse, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality care to our clients in their homes or residential facilities.
Key Responsibilities- Assist with daily living activities, such as bathing, dressing, and grooming, to promote independence and dignity.
- Observe and monitor client behavior, documenting any changes or concerns.
- Provide training and education on basic personal and social skills, as well as work skills, to empower clients to reach their full potential.
- Assist with meal preparation, including special diets, and provide transportation to appointments and activities.
- Monitor and administer medications, as prescribed, and maintain accurate records.
- Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to develop and implement individualized service plans.
- High school diploma or equivalent required; associate's degree or higher preferred.
- Valid state driver's license and reliable transportation required.
- Ability to lift 16-20 pounds and perform physical demands of the job.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with ability to work effectively with clients, families, and staff.
- Knowledge of observation and documentation techniques, as well as basic first aid and CPR.
