Job Title: CNC Machinist

At Mayco Industries, we are seeking a skilled CNC Machinist to join our team in the Machine Shop. As a CNC Machinist, you will be responsible for preparing raw materials, operating various machine tools, and performing preventative machine maintenance.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Set up, edit programming, and operate lathes, mills, manual, and CNC machines.
  • Prioritize and coordinate machine shop assignments.
  • Manufacture products based on knowledge of products and current specifications.
  • Maintain a clean, organized work area and follow all safety procedures.
  • Participate in R&D and product design projects as needed.
Requirements:
  • 5+ years of Machine Shop and/or Tooling Experience.
  • High School Diploma or GED required; AA degree or AS equivalent in Machine Shop training desired.
  • Ability to read, interpret, and comply with all safety policies, practices, and procedures.
  • Ability to calculate dimensions and tolerances using micrometers and calipers.
  • Ability to work with mathematical concepts such as fundamentals of plane, solid geometry, and some trigonometry.
Working Conditions:

This position requires the ability to work under pressing conditions in a professional and responsive manner. You will work in a CNC Shop within a Manufacturing environment, and as such, you will encounter some dust/dirt, and noise/vibration.

Mayco Industries offers a competitive salary of $35.00 per hour, as well as a comprehensive benefits package, including 401(k), dental insurance, employee assistance program, flexible spending account, health insurance, paid time off, referral program, and vision insurance.
