Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Quantitative Business Analyst to join our team at Infosys. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in Python and Mathematics, with a deep understanding of quantitative analysis, financial modeling, and proficiency in Python programming and Machine learning.

The successful candidate will play a key part in developing and implementing quantitative models, conducting data analysis, and developing, testing, and maintaining high-performance applications using Python. Strong knowledge of APIs, integration, data extraction, and preprocessing will be an added advantage.

Responsibilities will include requirements gathering, development, code deployment, enhancement, and fixes, as well as helping with testing and documentation activities. The candidate must be located within commuting distance of Jersey City, NJ or New York, NY, or be willing to work out of client locations.

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree or foreign equivalent required from an accredited institution
  • At least 4 years of experience with Information Technology
  • Experience in Python, Derivatives, and Regulatory reporting

Preferred Qualifications:

  • At least 4 years of experience in Python development
  • At least 4 years of experience in software services industry and experience in Mathematical modeling and software development
  • Knowledge of statistical models for risk assessment, pricing, and optimization
