Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Assistant Executive Housekeeper to join our team at Fairfield Inn & Suites Savannah Airport. As a key member of our housekeeping team, you will be responsible for ensuring the highest standards of cleanliness and quality in our guest rooms and public areas.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead and supervise a team of Room Attendants and House persons to ensure all rooms and public areas meet established cleanliness and quality standards.
  • Assign daily cleaning boards and distribute work evenly among the team.
  • Verify and report the status and/or discrepancies of rooms.
  • Communicate and coordinate with Engineering/Property Operations to ensure efficient maintenance and repair of items related to guest rooms and public areas.
  • Communicate and coordinate with Front Desk Agents about the status of rooms in a timely and efficient manner.
  • Assist the Executive Housekeeping Manager with administrative duties as needed, such as scheduling, payroll edits, inventory, ordering, etc.
  • Oversee the Lost & Found program.
  • Perform Room Attendant and/or House-person duties as needed.

Physical Demands

The Assistant Executive Housekeeper will require finger dexterity, grasping, writing, standing, sitting, bending, walking, repetitive motions, hearing, visual acuity, and may on occasion have to lift and carry up to 40 pounds.
