About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Mechanical Systems Specialist to join our team at The Copper River Family of Companies. As an Outfitter I, you will be responsible for the installation and assembly of mechanical systems, steering hydraulics, engines, fuel lines, electrical systems, and accessories. You will also be responsible for the full assembly of boat trailers and performing rigging as required.

Key Responsibilities
  • Install and assemble mechanical systems, including steering hydraulics, engines, fuel lines, and electrical systems.
  • Perform rigging and assembly of boat trailers.
  • Ensure adherence to established quality control standards and procedures.
  • Maintain site cleanliness and efficiency in completing tasks.
  • Demonstrate flexibility and safely perform multiple duties in a fast-paced working environment.
Requirements
  • Clearance:
    • Must be a US Citizen.
    • Must be able to pass a background check.
  • Education:
    • High School Diploma (GED).
  • Required Knowledge/Experience:
    • Experience reading and interpreting engineering drawings, understanding drawing symbols, reading flag notes, and general notes.
    • Ability to follow written and verbal instructions, read travelers, and standard procedures.
    • Computer proficiency with Microsoft Office applications, including Word and Excel.
    • Attention to detail and accuracy while working in a fast-paced production environment.
  • Physical Requirements:
    • Ability to lift 50lbs.
    • Ability to stand for long periods, climb up and down ladders, bend, grasp, sit, pull, push, stoop, and stretch.
    • Ability to work long hours, when required, to meet deadlines and other deliverables.
