Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Radiologic Technologist to join our team at Cephas Consultancy Services Private Limited. As a key member of our radiology department, you will be responsible for performing routine and specialized imaging procedures, demonstrating expertise in diagnostic and special procedure radiography.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Patient Preparation and Imaging: Prepare and position patients accurately for specific examinations, considering unique requirements for each protocol and documenting images and relevant patient information.
  2. Equipment Operation and Maintenance: Perform equipment quality assurance and calibrations, and manage supply orders to ensure optimal performance and efficiency.
  3. Assistance to Radiologists: Assist physicians during procedures as necessary, and provide high-quality technical images for review and interpretation.
  4. Quality Assurance and Patient Care: Uphold principles of radiation protection, and maintain cleanliness in work areas, equipment, and accessories.
  5. Administrative Duties: Process images or print CDs as needed, and perform routine office duties such as answering phones, checking reports/films, and documenting information using Meditech or the hospital RIS and PACs digital x-ray system.
Requirements
  • Education and Certification: Graduate of an allied health education and accredited radiography school or hospital-based program, NY State DOH Licensure or Limited Permit, and ARRT registered (RT) and radiograph (R).
  • Continuing Education: Uphold continuing education requirements as per standards set forth by governing bodies (24 ECE credits over a two-year period depending on year of birth).
  • Professional Development: Perform the radiation dose pledge for both Image Gently and Image Wisely through the American College of Radiology (ACR) during the orientation process and before the end of the probationary period.
