Job Summary:

Thomas Jefferson University is seeking a skilled HVAC Mechanic to join our team. As an HVAC Mechanic, you will be responsible for installing, repairing, and maintaining HVAC equipment and systems in our industrial and institutional settings.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Install, repair, and maintain HVAC equipment and systems in accordance with manufacturer specifications and industry standards.
  • Perform routine maintenance tasks, such as cleaning and inspecting equipment, to ensure optimal performance and efficiency.
  • Diagnose and troubleshoot HVAC system issues, using technical knowledge and problem-solving skills to resolve problems.
  • Collaborate with other maintenance personnel to ensure seamless operation of HVAC systems.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry developments and advancements in HVAC technology.

Requirements:

  • 5+ years of experience in industrial/institutional HVAC maintenance work.
  • Building automation controls, pneumatics, and hospital experience desired.
  • High school or vocational school graduate, with trades apprenticeship completion desired.
  • Controls training a plus.
