- Develop and engineer audiovisual systems tailored to client needs.

- Estimate project costs, including expenses and logistics, based on comprehensive project understanding.
- Assist sales teams in gathering client requirements and facilitating communication.
- Prepare detailed bills of materials for projects.
- Construct systems based on consultant designs and innovate solutions based on client specifications.
- Draft scopes of work with technical details.
- Create supporting drawings for sales and proposal activities.
- Conduct site inspections and technical review meetings.
- Collaborate with consultants, vendors, general contractors, and electrical contractors.
- Support the Operations Team with change order management.
- Transition projects effectively to Project Managers and Installation Teams to ensure successful execution.
- Provide innovative solutions to enhance the company's competitive edge.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering or a related field, along with 5-10 years of relevant experience.
- Certification in CTS is mandatory; CTS-D certification is preferred.
Preferred Skills
- At least two years of experience in professional audio/video integration is preferred.
- Familiarity with Bluebeam and estimating software is advantageous.
Compensation
Annual salary range: $65,000 - $85,000.

The AV Estimator/Design Engineer is a dedicated professional who collaborates closely with both operations and sales teams. This role involves creating detailed bills of materials, defining scopes of work, designing systems, and producing complex estimates. The individual must cultivate effective working relationships with external clients and internal leadership through professionalism and strong communication skills.
