Job Summary

We are seeking a Certified Nursing Assistant to join our Geri Psych Unit team. As a Nursing Assistant, you will play a vital role in providing exceptional patient care and supporting the nursing team in delivering high-quality services.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist patients with activities of daily living, including bathing, dressing, and grooming.
  • Provide basic nursing care to non-acutely ill patients, including vital sign monitoring and medication administration.
  • Assist in maintaining a safe and clean environment, adhering to infection control protocols and ensuring patient confidentiality.
  • Communicate effectively with the nursing team, patients, and families, providing clear and concise information about patient care and treatment plans.
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives, contributing to the development and implementation of evidence-based practices.
Requirements
  • Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification
  • Current CPR certification
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment, prioritizing tasks and managing time efficiently
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a focus on patient-centered care
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with discretion
