We are seeking a highly skilled Obstetrics & Gynecology Physician to join our team at Urban Health Plan (UHP) in Queens. As a key member of our healthcare team, you will provide high-quality patient care and contribute to the advancement of innovative best practices.

Job Summary

The Obstetrics & Gynecology Physician will be responsible for examining patients, conducting tests, and analyzing records to diagnose medical conditions. You will also prescribe and administer treatment, therapy, medication, and/or vaccination as needed. Additionally, you will focus on explaining procedures and discussing test results with patients, advising them on diet, activity, hygiene, and disease prevention.

Responsibilities
  • Examine patients and conduct tests to provide information on medical status
  • Analyze records, reports, and test results to diagnose medical conditions
  • Prescribe and administer treatment, therapy, medication, and/or vaccination as needed
  • Focus on explaining procedures and discussing test results with patients
  • Advise patients and the community on diet, activity, hygiene, and disease prevention
  • Collaborate with non-physician providers (NP, PA, CNM, etc)
Qualifications
  • NY State License REQUIRED
  • DEA License REQUIRED
  • Experience in community healthcare PREFERRED
