Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Registered Nurse (RN) to join our Labor and Delivery team at Corona Regional Medical Center in Corona, CA. As a Labor and Delivery Nurse, you will provide high-quality patient care to maternal and newborn patients, working collaboratively with our interdisciplinary team to ensure excellent outcomes.

Responsibilities
  • Provide direct patient care to labor and delivery patients, including assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation of care.
  • Collaborate with obstetricians, anesthesiologists, and other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless care transitions.
  • Develop and implement individualized care plans, taking into account patient preferences and needs.
  • Monitor fetal heart rates and respond to changes in maternal and fetal status.
  • Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians.
  • Participate in ongoing education and training to stay current with best practices and advancements in perinatal care.
Requirements
  • Current California RN license.
  • One year of experience in Labor and Delivery or OB/GYN.
  • Current BLS (CPR) certification from the American Heart Association.
  • Current NRP certification.
  • AWOHNN Advanced Fetal Monitoring certificate within one year of hire date.
  • ACLS certification from the American Heart Association.
