Job Description

Technology Innovation Program Analyst/Associate

Joining one of PNC's Development Programs allows you to discover your potential through practical experience in a professional setting.

This role presents an excellent opportunity to begin defining your career aspirations while developing skills in essential areas.

The objective of PNC's Development Programs is to transition analysts and associates from developmental roles into operational roles within various lines of business.

PNC's Technology Innovation Program offers an exciting platform for you to launch your career as a proficient technologist.

By rotating through diverse areas of Technology, you will establish a network of colleagues across the organization, gain a comprehensive understanding of application development, and acquire insights into security and risk management that will empower you to create secure and efficient code.


Upon successful completion of the program, you may be offered a permanent position within one of several teams based on your interests and capabilities.

Managers and teams from across the organization will present a variety of opportunities for available positions within their teams, allowing you to identify which teams and projects align best with your career goals.

Potential roles include Software Engineer, Automation Developer, Risk Specialist, and Data Engineer.


Throughout the program, you can expect to utilize cutting-edge technology and next-generation tools, enhance the customer experience, and engage in additional experiential learning opportunities, including design thinking best practices, collaboration tools, and soft skills development such as analyzing and presenting cases to executives.


Before the final rotation, you will collaborate with your cohort in a dedicated hackathon to showcase the technical and collaborative skills you have honed during the program.


The Technology Innovation Program will deepen your understanding of emerging technologies while providing a unique perspective on how technology influences the financial sector.

Associates will rotate through four core areas:
Data & Analytics, Security, Software Engineering, and Technology Operations. These rotations offer the greatest exposure to rapid development principles and innovative strategies. Associates will bring their ideas to fruition as part of this 12-month experience.

Associates will engage in software development that empowers users with secure, stable, and efficient technology solutions through innovative engineering. This includes designing, structuring, and engineering infrastructure, platforms, and interfaces for the organization while working iteratively to minimize inefficiencies. Recent projects have included automating consumer account document evaluations and implementing security and fraud detection technologies.

The Technology Innovation Program is designed to provide comprehensive exposure to the latest technological advancements while fostering a collaborative environment for professional growth.
