Job Title: Dietary Technician

Canopy Children's Solutions is seeking a skilled Dietary Technician to join our team. As a Dietary Technician, you will play a vital role in preparing and cooking high-quality meals for our youth and School Day students.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Prepare and serve meals three times daily for CARES Center residents and School Day students.
  • Prepare meals for transportation as needed.
  • Ensure all meals are prepared under safe and sanitary conditions without contamination.
  • Maintain portion and cost control using standardized recipes and measuring.
  • Provide special dietary needs as directed by the Dietary Manager and/or Registered Dietitian.
  • Maintain a clean and safe environment at all times in the Kitchen and Dining Area.
Requirements:
  • High school diploma or GED; or three years' experience cooking in a healthcare environment or with childhood nutrition.
  • Basic understanding of dietary requirements.
  • Ability to read, write, and speak English.
  • Must be at least 21 years old and possess a valid driver's license and the ability to be covered by organization insurance provider.
