Position Summary:

The Systems Engineer will oversee the maintenance and management of both physical and virtual infrastructure components, including servers, storage solutions, networking, voice systems, and security measures. This role collaborates with other IT teams to ensure that our infrastructure aligns with the company’s strategic objectives.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage server operations and monitor storage capacity to ensure sufficient space for data.
  • Oversee data backup and recovery processes, ensuring backups are monitored effectively.
  • Administer cloud services and manage security protocols.
  • Conduct performance tuning and infrastructure automation.
  • Assist in disaster recovery planning and capacity management.
  • Troubleshoot network and infrastructure issues.
  • Procure necessary hardware and software.
  • Document technology processes and maintain compliance with governance standards.
  • Perform patch management and other assigned duties.

Qualifications:

To be successful in this role, candidates should possess:

  • A Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field; a Master’s degree is preferred.
  • A minimum of 10 years of experience in IT infrastructure management.
  • At least 5 years of experience with Microsoft Server, Azure, and Office product lines.
  • Strong communication skills in English, both written and verbal.
  • Proficiency in IT processes, designs, and best practices.
