Job Title: Heavy Equipment Mechanic

Join our team at LeoTerra Development, Inc. as a Heavy Equipment Mechanic and play a crucial role in maintaining our heavy equipment fleet. As a key member of our maintenance team, you will be responsible for performing routine maintenance, repairs, and troubleshooting on a variety of heavy equipment, including bulldozers, track loaders, and excavators.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Perform routine maintenance and repairs on heavy equipment, including oil changes, tire rotations, and brake pad replacements.
  • Diagnose and troubleshoot mechanical issues with heavy equipment, using technical manuals and diagnostic tools.
  • Perform welding, cutting, and fabrication tasks as needed.
  • Operate a service truck to perform equipment refueling, daily maintenance, and other mechanic duties.
  • Maintain accurate records of maintenance and repairs performed.
Requirements:
  • 5+ years of experience in heavy equipment maintenance or a related field.
  • Working knowledge of heavy equipment systems, including engines, transmissions, and hydraulic systems.
  • Ability to read and interpret technical manuals and diagrams.
  • Physical ability to lift and move heavy equipment parts and tools.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines.
