The Team Coordinator for Patient Registration and/or Patient Financial Services is responsible for the daily operations of one or more areas. This role supervises staff, coordinates quality and customer service activities, assists in the development and monitoring of the department budget, and coordinates the purchasing and payroll processes. The Team Coordinator serves as a technical resource to team members and performs work assignments as needed to provide appropriate coverage and to mentor/assist staff. This role is responsible for interviewing, hiring, and developing staff with the goal of developing a highly effective work team. The Team Coordinator also serves as the chief retention officer for areas of responsibility.
Responsibilities:
* Supervise staff and coordinate quality and customer service activities
* Assist in the development and monitoring of the department budget
* Coordinate the purchasing and payroll processes
* Serve as a technical resource to team members
* Perform work assignments as needed to provide appropriate coverage and to mentor/assist staff
