About the Role

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Supply Chain Technician I to join our team at UofL Health. As a key member of our supply chain team, you will be responsible for maintaining accurate inventory levels, restocking shelves, and providing exceptional customer service to our staff.

Key Responsibilities
  • Support the accurate maintenance of the supply inventory, including daily restocking and rotation of inventory.
  • Perform cycle counts and other inventories to ensure accuracy and identify areas for improvement.
  • Notify the Supervisor of outdates or slow-moving inventory to ensure timely replacement.
  • Support and maintain inventory levels for 3rd party systems and Lawson Par locations.
  • Provide basic troubleshooting for automated inventory management systems.
  • Maintain clean and orderly stock locations, ensuring a safe and efficient work environment.
  • Process shipments to stock and deliver supplies to staff as needed.
  • Perform other duties as assigned, including basic Lawson functions and knowledge of 3rd party systems.
Requirements
  • High school or GED required; Associate's or Bachelor's degree preferred.
  • Minimum of two years of supply chain-related experience, preferably in a healthcare setting.
  • Team management and/or project management experience a plus.
  • Ability to keep abreast of current trends and changes related to technology within healthcare.
