Job Overview

We seek a Medical Director who will oversee our new $17.5M Free Standing, 18-Bed Inpatient Care Unit and help grow our service territory. This role combines 50% direct clinical care with 50% administration, presenting opportunities for leadership development and strategic growth.

The ideal candidate will develop relationships with outside partners, implement staff education programs, and lead interdisciplinary teams comprised of MDs, NPs, RNs, social workers, and chaplains. Our Medical Director will work closely with hospice/palliative care fellows and primary care residents while reporting directly to the Chief Medical Officer.

Requirements and Qualifications

Candidates should possess strong leadership skills, experience in end-of-life care, and a commitment to serving diverse patient populations. While formal hospice certification is preferred, we will consider physicians with no prior experience and provide comprehensive training.
