Job Summary

This role is responsible for working independently to prepare food, fry, package, display, and stock Bakery products. The ideal candidate will contribute to the financial best interest of the store, meet company guidelines for guest experience, and comply with company guidelines for safety and food safety.

Key Responsibilities
  • Food Preparation and Production: Prepare and produce Bakery Products to meet production planner requirements.
  • Product Packaging and Labeling: Package and label Bakery Products according to program plan.
  • Merchandising and Display: Merchandise Bakery Products according to flight plan and merchandising expectations.
  • Inventory Management: Stock backroom with Bakery Products, rotating and dating cases and buckets.
  • Supply Chain Coordination: Notify the Bakery Manager if products and supplies need to be ordered.
  • Team Collaboration: Work as a team with other departments and stores to achieve growth in our retail stores.
  • Basic Math Skills: Understand basic functions of adding, subtracting, multiplying, and division.
  • Communication: Communicate tasks, recipes, weights, and measures, and cleaning steps completed to other associates.
  • Safety and Food Safety: Follow all PPE and safety guidelines, food safety and cleaning expectations, and guest experience guidelines.
  • Additional Responsibilities: May be assigned tasks in other departments based on customer experience needs.
Requirements
  • Education: High School Diploma (GED) preferred.
  • Experience: One year of retail or related experience preferred.
  • Skills: Ability to read, write, comprehend, and interpret documents; basic mathematical skills; detail-oriented.
