Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Respiratory Therapy Technician to join our team at OSF HealthCare. As a Respiratory Therapy Technician, you will work in accordance with evidence-based policies and procedures to provide respiratory therapy to patients as ordered by the prescribing physician.

Key Responsibilities
  • Administer medical gases, medications, airway clearance, and other respiratory modalities as prescribed.
  • Monitor levels of supplies and equipment for department and patient care areas.
  • Apply theoretical knowledge to care of adolescent and adult patients and other members of the healthcare team.
  • Demonstrate competence in respiratory skills, problem-solving, and critical thinking.
Qualifications
  • High School/GED
  • Licensed Practical Nursing license in the State of Illinois or Respiratory Care Practitioner license in the State of Illinois.
  • BLS from the American Heart Association
Preferred Qualifications
