Role Overview

Soar Autism Center is seeking a highly skilled Child Psychologist to join our interdisciplinary team. As a key member of our team, you will play a vital role in supporting young children with autism and their families.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in clinical psychology, with expertise in the evaluation and treatment of autism spectrum disorder. You will be responsible for conducting diagnostic evaluations, developing treatment plans, and providing high-quality services to our clients.

We prioritize early intervention, comprehensive supportive services, and positive, developmentally-appropriate learning. Our team is dedicated to helping children with autism grow into their fullest potential.

Responsibilities
  • Conduct diagnostic evaluations using standardized assessments for autism and differential diagnosis
  • Develop and deliver treatment recommendations to families
  • Provide high-quality and efficient services, including clinical services and reports
  • Participate in continuity of care for children evaluated that then receive treatment at Soar
  • Consultation and coaching with the Head of Psychological Services
Qualifications
  • Doctorate degree in Clinical Psychology, School Psychology or related field
  • Active (or eligible to obtain) Arizona license as a Licensed Psychologist
  • Full competency in the evaluation of Autism Spectrum Disorder, including the ADOS-2, in children 0-5 years-old
  • Competency in differential diagnosis in the context of autism evaluations
  • Understanding of effective treatment methods for autism
