Role Overview
This position is essential for the efficiency of midstream compressor and pumping stations, storage facilities, and liquid measurement sites.

Key Responsibilities
The Instrumentation & Controls (I&C) Engineer will undertake complex tasks related to midstream compressor stations, pumping facilities, storage tanks, pipelines, and gas and liquid measurement sites.

  • Specification of instrumentation including transmitters, meters, switches, gauges, control valves, and actuated on/off valves.
  • Development and maintenance of instrument indexes, I/O lists, cause and effect diagrams, and control narratives.
  • Execution of wake frequency calculations, control valve sizing, and orifice plate sizing.
  • Support in the creation of network architectures, instrument location plans, wiring diagrams, and installation details.
  • Collaboration with project teams for the development of P&IDs, system control philosophies, and alarm setpoints.
  • Design and specification of programmable logic controller (PLC) cabinets, remote I/O cabinets, electronic flow measurement devices, and supervisory control and data acquisition systems.
  • Preparation of RFQ packages and provision of technical evaluations for procurement processes.
  • Conducting factory inspections and field assessments.

Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field.
- A minimum of 7 years of relevant experience.
- Strong understanding of industry codes and standards such as NEC, NFPA, ISA, IEC, API, and ASTM.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook, Teams).

Desired Qualifications
- Experience with Bluebeam Studio for collaboration.
- Familiarity with Navisworks for reviewing 3D models.
