Role Summary:
The Operations Maintenance Supervisor plays a pivotal role in guaranteeing the operational efficiency of all washing processes. This position focuses on maximizing equipment performance, organizing scheduled maintenance, and participating in capital expenditure projects within the service center. Collaboration with the General Manager is essential to provide direction and support to local maintenance teams, ensuring optimal maintenance and functionality of plant and washing equipment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Implement and oversee a preventative maintenance program at the facility.
  • Coordinate maintenance schedules to minimize downtime while adhering to safety protocols.
  • Diagnose and troubleshoot malfunctioning systems, offering technical assistance to maintenance staff.
  • Manage and oversee the Predictive Maintenance (PDM) system, including issue resolution, software updates, and hardware installations.
  • Assist the General Manager by analyzing equipment performance and recommending strategies for efficient and cost-effective operations.
  • Execute capital expenditure projects in accordance with approved budgets and timelines.
  • Lead and support maintenance personnel in the installation, upkeep, and repair of equipment while promoting good housekeeping practices.
  • Oversee multiple projects concurrently.
  • Monitor and report on machine downtime.
  • Provide training and development opportunities for maintenance staff.

Qualifications & Experience:

  • A four-year college degree is preferred.
  • Proven expertise in electrical, mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems; experience in automation is advantageous.
  • Ability to tackle complex integration system challenges effectively.
  • Experience in process development with a successful track record in balancing cost, quality, and performance.
  • Capability to formulate and manage project plans within budget constraints.
  • Documented OSHA safety training and/or accreditation is highly preferred.
  • A minimum of 10 years of maintenance experience in high-volume production, agricultural production, or distribution settings is required.
  • Experience in managing multiple high-volume, 24-hour production or warehouse environments is essential.
  • Experience in safety program management is required.
  • Flexibility to work varied schedules/hours is necessary.

Skills & Knowledge:

  • Exceptional verbal and written communication abilities.
  • Proficient in team collaboration.
  • Strong planning and organizational skills with the capacity to manage high-volume operational demands.
  • Familiarity with relevant federal and state regulations regarding wage and hour, employee relations, and safety.
  • Proficient in computer applications, particularly within the Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Demonstrated ability to develop and maintain an effective team in a high-volume, 24-hour production or warehouse environment.
  • Strong decision-making skills under pressure.

Compensation:
The compensation range for this position is between $90,000 and $115,000. IFCO offers a comprehensive benefits package, including medical, dental, and vision coverage starting on the first of the month following hire, a 401(k) match with immediate vesting, annual bonus potential, and opportunities for merit increases.
