Job Summary

We are seeking a highly qualified Science Educator to join our team at Glade Run Lutheran Services. As a Science Educator, you will be responsible for facilitating the science curriculum, maintaining science supplies and science lab, and serving as a science resource to all staff.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement engaging science lessons that meet the needs of diverse learners
  • Maintain a well-organized science lab and ensure that all necessary materials are available for students
  • Provide support and guidance to students as needed, and collaborate with other teachers to ensure a cohesive learning environment
  • Assess student progress and adjust instruction to meet the needs of individual students
  • Participate in professional development opportunities to stay current on best practices in science education
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Education or a related field
  • PA Teaching Certification in General Science 7-12 or Biology 7-12
  • Experience working with students with diverse needs and abilities
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team
