Pharmacy Supervisor

As a Pharmacy Supervisor at OnePoint Patient Care, you will oversee the daily operations of our pharmacy team, ensuring the highest level of quality and service to our patients. This role requires strong leadership and communication skills, as well as a deep understanding of pharmacy operations and regulations.
Key Responsibilities
Participate in the orientation and training of new pharmacy technicians
Monitor workflow and reassign tasks as needed to ensure efficient operations
Prepare and manage pharmacy schedules to meet the needs of our patients
Fill prescription items, packaging medications for dispensing and delivery, meeting accuracy and productivity standards
Prepare medications, including emulsions, liquids, powders, and ointments, which may include non-sterile compounding
Perform tasks such as working in the Controlled Drugs (Narcotics) Room, operating automated machines, managing inventory, and inputting patient data into our computer system
Communicate with internal and external customers in a professional and pleasant manner
Ensure adherence to local, state, and federal regulations
Perform other tasks as assigned
Requirements
High school diploma or equivalent required
Experience in an LTC pharmacy setting required
Prior supervisory experience desired
Basic understanding of drugs, medication terminology, and metric system; ability to operate a computer
Workflow management skills; scheduling skills; performance management desired
