We are seeking an experienced Executive Director of Financial Strategy to join our Executive Leadership Team at Friends of the Children-Portland. As a key member of our organization, you will be responsible for overseeing our financial health, operational efficiency, and growth.

Key Responsibilities:

The successful candidate will lead all financial activities, including accounting, financial reporting, forecasting, and audit preparation. They will also develop and manage financial strategies to support sustainable growth, oversee operational management, and represent the organization in financial discussions with external stakeholders.

Requirements:

To be considered for this role, you must have an MBA, CPA, or related advanced degree, and a minimum of 7-10 years of experience in financial management, with at least 2-3 years in nonprofit finance. You should have strong leadership, analytical, and problem-solving skills, as well as experience managing unionized employees and navigating a unionized environment.

Salary and Benefits:

The salary for this position is $125,000 per year, which includes a competitive benefits package, including health, dental, and vision coverage, a retirement plan with employer contributions, generous paid time off, and hybrid work flexibility.
