Responsibilities:
- Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care to meet the physical, emotional, and spiritual needs of patients and their families.
- Develop and implement individualized care plans, taking into account patient preferences, values, and cultural backgrounds.
- Collaborate with physicians, therapists, and other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive care.
- Monitor and manage patient vital signs, medications, and treatments, making adjustments as needed.
- Provide education and support to patients and families, promoting health literacy and self-management skills.
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives, contributing to the development and implementation of evidence-based practices.
Requirements:
- Current RN licensure in the state of practice.
- Minimum of 1 year of experience in a PCU or critical care setting.
