Claims Resolution Specialist

The Claims Resolution Specialist plays a critical role in our organization by investigating, evaluating, and determining the appropriate disposition of all types of claims arising out of our business.
Key Responsibilities:
- Investigate and evaluate entry-level insurance claims to ensure timely and fair resolution.
- Study insurance policies, endorsements, and forms to develop foundational knowledge of our insurance products.
- Learns and complies with claim handling procedures, including negotiations and settlements.
- Develops skills in claim servicing, including effective communication with agents, insureds, and others.
- Maintains accurate records and reports on claim activities.
- Fulfills regulatory requirements, including obtaining and maintaining adjuster's licenses as required.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree or direct equivalent experience in property/casualty claims handling.
- A minimum of one year of insurance claims experience, which may be waived or changed based on prior education and/or experience.
- Ability to write clear and concise reports and correspondence.
- Mathematical accuracy and ability to understand personal and business finance documents.
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and data security.
- Organizational and time management skills.
Compensation and Benefits
We offer a competitive salary range of $62,500 - $72,500 per year, plus benefits including medical, vision, dental, life, and disability insurance. Our Paid Time Off Program includes vacation, personal, sick time, and holiday pay. We also offer a 401(k) plan with company match.
