Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Collective Impact Facilitation Coordinator to join our team at United Way of Weld County. This role will play a critical part in fostering cross-sector collaboration and driving collective change in our community.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement a county-wide collective impact strategy, aligning partners and organizations to support large-scale collective change.
  • Convene and facilitate community-wide processes to develop the collective impact process in Weld County, prioritizing equity and guiding the vision and strategy of the common agenda.
  • Facilitate community member-led steering committees and workgroups to coordinate differentiated mutual reinforcing action plans.
  • Implement system improvements to increase equity and lower disparities in collective impact processes and outcomes for vulnerable populations, including victims of domestic violence, homeless individuals, racial/ethnic minorities, youth, and the elderly.
  • Facilitate dialogue between partners, provide direct support for steering committees and workgroups as needed, and ensure members engage in frequent structured communication to build trust and foster cross-sector alignment.
  • Recruit, educate, and onboard new community partners into the collective impact system, monitoring engagement and participation of existing members.
  • Manage data collection among funded partners and support data-driven continuous learning, adaptation, and improvement.
  • Cultivate broad relationships throughout the community in coordination with the steering committee and workgroup members, seeking to build an inclusive effort that authentically engages and fosters ownership within the community.
  • Facilitate and coordinate steering committees and workgroup meetings, including setting up meeting locations, preparing agendas, scheduling, note-taking, maintaining membership contact databases, and other materials needed for use during meetings.
  • Embodies the principles of adaptive leadership, focusing people's attention, creating a sense of urgency, encouraging stakeholders, framing issues to present opportunities, and regularly interpreting and presenting collective impact progress and performance measures at community events, meetings, and conferences.
  • Contribute to planning, implementation, analysis of the annual collective impact grant funding process, identifying and implementing suggested areas for change, and contributing to the narrative portions of grant applications and reports that support the work of collective impact.
  • Analyze data using an equity lens to identify areas for system improvement, leading efforts to implement data-informed improvements in partnership with community stakeholders.

Education/Experience Requirements
  • Associates Degree and 1 year experience in organizing, facilitation of community-wide issues, system building, or a related role in nonprofit, education, human services, healthcare, government, or private business.
Position Information
  • Reports to: Vice President of Community Impact.
  • Location: Greeley, CO (must be willing to travel throughout Weld County).
  • Eligible for remote work: Yes after 90 days of employment with supervisors' approval.
  • Background check required.
