Job Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated and customer-focused Concessions Team Member to join our team at The Sports Facilities Companies. As a Concessions Team Member, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service, operating an electronic cash register, and maintaining a clean and safe environment for our guests.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist customers with outstanding customer service, ensuring a positive experience for all guests.
  • Operate an electronic cash register and credit card machine, accurately handling transactions and maintaining a balanced cash drawer.
  • Perform basic mathematical computations, balancing daily income and managing cash handling responsibilities.
  • Communicate effectively with the public, providing clear and concise information in a friendly and polite manner.
  • Clean and maintain dining and concession areas, including tables, floors, and equipment, ensuring a clean and safe environment for guests.
  • Assist in preparing and serving food items, including loading and unloading food and supplies from trucks and storage areas.
  • Alert management immediately in the event of suspicious activity, intoxicated individuals, or other safety concerns.
Requirements
  • Must be at least 17 years of age.
  • Must be able to work weekends, nights, and holidays.
  • Prior experience operating a cash register and balancing a cash drawer is preferred.
  • Ability to communicate effectively with patrons and provide excellent customer service.
  • One year of customer service experience with the general public is preferred.
Working Conditions and Physical Demands
  • Must be able to lift 40 pounds waist high.
  • Will be required to stand for extended periods of time.
  • Able to enter information on computers.
  • Must comply with safety and health code standards.
  • Good personal hygiene is essential.
  • Facility has intermittent noise.
  • Must wear proper uniform.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Current Food Handlers Card.
  • CPR/First Aid Certified.
  • 1+ years of experience in a food service environment.
