Job Summary

This is a challenging and rewarding role that requires a skilled RN to coordinate and provide care to patients. The ideal candidate will have strong critical thinking skills and be able to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities
  • Assess bed availability for all areas of the hospital
  • Assess patient information and bed requests for appropriateness
  • Make appropriate bed assignments based on patient need and specialized services provided by the unit
  • Communicate bed status to management
  • Participate in activities designed to improve healthcare delivery
  • Communicate and collaborate with others in providing patient care
  • Provide clinical leadership and support lifelong learning
  • Complete assigned goals
Requirements

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in nursing and experience in bed management. A preferred candidate will have knowledge of Baptist Memphis hospital and specialty units. A minimum of a RN license is required, and BLS certification is preferred. Computer literacy is also a must.
