We are seeking a highly skilled Nurse Practitioner to join our team at North Mississippi Health Services. As a Nurse Practitioner, you will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care in a clinic setting.
Key Responsibilities- Assess, diagnose, and treat patients in the clinic and/or long-term care setting according to the scope of practice outlined by the Board of Nursing, approved protocols, and national standards of practice as directed by the physician preceptor.
- Provide patients and/or family members with education related to the disease process, health, and wellness.
- Ensure timely and accurate documentation of patient status and patient care activities, including treatments, procedures, and medications prescribed.
- Stay abreast of changes in medical management and participate in various health care education activities.
- Master's Degree in Nursing required; Doctorate Degree preferred.
- Licensed in State as a Nurse Practitioner; required.
- Minimum of 2 years clinical experience as an RN preferred.
- Excellent written and verbal communication required.
- Maintains working knowledge of skills and current technology; required.
