Job Title: Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner/Physician Assistant
Job Summary:
Eventus WholeHealth is seeking a highly skilled Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner/Physician Assistant to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in psychiatric evaluation, medication management, and therapy, and will be able to work collaboratively with other healthcare professionals to develop and implement treatment plans that meet the individual needs of each patient.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Conduct comprehensive psychiatric evaluations and assessments to identify patient needs and develop effective treatment plans.
  • Prescribe and manage medications for mental health disorders, ensuring optimal patient outcomes and minimizing potential side effects.
  • Provide individual and group therapy sessions to patients, utilizing evidence-based techniques and modalities to promote mental health and well-being.
  • Collaborate with other healthcare professionals, including psychiatrists, psychologists, and social workers, to develop and implement comprehensive treatment plans that address the physical, emotional, and social needs of patients.
  • Monitor and evaluate patient progress, making adjustments to treatment plans as needed to ensure optimal outcomes.
  • Document patient care in electronic medical records, maintaining accurate and up-to-date records of patient interactions and treatment plans.
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives, contributing to the development and implementation of policies and procedures that promote high-quality patient care.
  • Provide education and support to patients and their families, empowering them to take an active role in their mental health and well-being.
Requirements:
  • Master's degree in nursing or physician assistant studies from an accredited institution.
  • Current state licensure as a nurse practitioner or physician assistant.
  • Certification as a psychiatric nurse practitioner or physician assistant.
  • At least 2 years of experience in psychiatric evaluation, medication management, and therapy.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with patients, families, and healthcare professionals.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with a strong commitment to collaboration and teamwork.
  • Strong problem-solving and critical thinking skills, with the ability to analyze complex patient data and develop effective treatment plans.
  • Proficiency in electronic medical records, with the ability to navigate and utilize EMR systems effectively.
